COMPONENTS OF THIS MALEKU DRUM: The top of the drum is made from the skin of the Iguana / Piel de Iguana (Spanish) / Erra Lenh (Maleku) While the Malekus value the iguana as food and as material for artistry, they are very careful so as to allow the population to thrive. Because every piece of art is made to order, we do not stock inventory. Please send an e-mail describing which pieces you would like, and they will be custom made and shipped directly to you.
