The Drum / El Tambor (in Spanish) / Tali (in Maleku)

Long ago, the drum was used as a method of communication from one location to another between members of the tribe.  It is carved in relief from balsa wood and painted with acrylics.  The top of the drum is made from genuine iguana skin.

Because every piece of art is made to order, we do not stock inventory.  Please send an e-mail describing which pieces you would like, and they will be custom made and shipped directly to you.
